I bet you guys are all asking the same question. "Why did it take her so long to do her own tag?"

Good question, and the answer is... I have no idea XD

So without further ado, let's get into it.

Questions

Name of book?

Star Gazing (for now) and the name of the series is "The Elites"

Blurb?

Okay so to be honest, I don't really have one, but here is a very rough outline of the future blurb.

Some called the midnights heroes others called them villains, but truthfully they were just kids.

Kirion was once a somewhat civilized planet, but as evil forces arose, it fell into ruin. That is until the midnights came along, a group of teens and adults with powers, all fighting for one cause.

But nowadays, the midnights are only helping the dictator Keith Flynn. A man whose one goal is power, only his soldiers aren’t working for him out of choice yet out of mind manipulation

The former Stars now Elites are doing everything in their power to stop the Midnights and free the other brainwashed Stars, no matter the cost.

The main goal of the book?

To show the idea of hope in hopeless times, and also the battle between good and evil and how things are never black and white.

The vibe of the book?

*Ponders* Well... dystopian, but also very sci-fi and a midnight feel.

Describe the main characters

There are so many XD But I'm going to talk about my two favorites.

Nash (20)

Charming, flirtatious, and introverted, he hides behind his humor, so if he’s upset he’ll annoy everyone around him, Caring, even if he bothers or teases you he’ll still stand up for you, brave, acts confident even those he’s pretty insecure, and he has weather powers

Nash and Evelyn were best friends from the start, and they even got to train together and work together. Thankfully they were a part of the branch that was saved from the mind control pretty early on. Yet they were able to do quite a bit of damage while Keith had them.

Both with guilt and no want to be soldiers again, they go on their own to hide basically. But when Lucas and Kira pull them in with a package of important information, they have no choice.

And Nash finds himself working with a bunch of people he has no interest in.

Evelyn (20)

Caring, outgoing, insecure, compassionate, slow to forgive, has telekinesis and telepathic powers, a daydreamer, an adventure seeker, has strong emotions

Evelyn was Keith’s favorite, one of the most powerful, he pushed her and everyone feared her. And they still do, they still blame her, which is why she and Nash usually only go to desolate places

But when brought into the mission, She finds that she and Nash are the only ones who can keep up with Skylar

Describe the side characters

Ooh, there are so many, but hmm... Diana and Kira are the ones I'm going to talk about.

So basically they're both sisters, Kire is (14) and Diana is (22), both sisters don't have powers but are skilled fighters.

And since Kira is so young she mostly stays at the Elite's base where she practices skills like combat fighting and other training.

Diana on the other hand works undercover at the Midnight headquarters, where she plays a crucial role in sending a package of important information to Evelyn and Nash.

Diana knows it's safest for her to distantly communicate with her sister, but she desperately hopes to see her again.

Describe the villain or obstacle

Well, there's nothing likable about Keith, but Skylar and Tristan (two of the stars, who both play an important role) still keep up a close relationship, and even with the limited emotions (the Stars are only given the emotions of Joy and Anger) they make witty remarks and truly care for each other. And in this book, they really have no choice in what they're doing... (now in the second and third books... my lips are sealed)

Favorite part of the book?

Any parts with Nash and Evelyn, they're my favs. Or Skylar and Tristan.

*Coughs* Marvel *coughs* and also other series like Lost in Space and Star Wars

They inspired me to write my own book of heroes and trauma XD

Sadly I can't say much more about this series since it would give way too many spoilers. (I promise it's more complex than it sounds)
