5 characters types

Whether you're writing a fantasy or romance a strong character plot is important. Here are 5 character types for you to use.
#1 - The Villain
The villain or antagonist is in my opinion the most important. Whether it's a powerful witch or a school bully, the villain's job is to torment the hero. There are a few types of villains though, some villains might have a sad backstory or sibling rivalry. Some villains may be plain cruel and manipulative. Villains bring the main problem to the book and they have a vital role in the story.
#2 - The Villain turn Hero
Not going to lie these are usually my favorite characters. Basically, the person starts off really mean or bad and turns into the hero. This can also work the other way, the hero turns into the villain but that's a little sad to write. Forgiveness is a powerful thing, so make a character that shows redemption. Plus these characters can be perfect for a romance story🥰.
"I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me for I have redeemed you." Isaiah 44:22
#3 - The Hero
The hero or usually the main character holds a vital role of importance. Their goal might be to fall in love or defeat the villain while challenges get in their way. maybe they're fighting a mental battle with themselves. Whatever their problems are they need to overcome them and become the hero.
#4 - Romio and Juliet
basically, two people who fall in love. I love a good romance, but there are so many different plot ideas it would be hard to choose just one. for instants maybe their complete opposites or are really similar. Maybe there's a lot of jealousy going on or an ex-girlfriend or boyfriend shows up. Whatever the story these characters are meant to be no matter what.
P.S. If you need any other plot ideas then comment, and I will give a whole rant😉.
#5 - A Sidekick
Who here has watched a movie or read a book where the sidekick is better than the main character? I know I have. The sidekick is usually funny or gives good advice, and they usually deserve more credit than they get. their helpfulness and kindness usually go unrecognized compared to the hero.
Still, the sidekick makes the story in my opinion. So remember to add a sidekick whether to the villain or hero.
That is all of them
I hope some of these helped you and gave you some inspiration. And remember to have fun with your writing.
